Alex Marlowe is a platinum producer and Emmy-Nominated composer based in Melbourne, Australia. Projects include music placed in the movies Tom and Jerry, Hustlers, Why Him, Tag, Sisters, Dave and Mike Need Wedding Dates,The Judge, Step Up All In, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, Step Up Revolution, The Big Year, The Blind Side, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Duma, work as a Music Consultant, and Piano Coach to Colin Farrell, on Sony Pictures’ remake of Total Recall (2012).

Alex has earned a Platinum record for production work for Krayzie Bone (of Bone Thugs ‘N Harmony), and co-produced remixes for a variety of major label artists, including Hip Hop remixes of 3 songs from D’Angelo’s legendary album Brown Sugar. He has composed for numerous TV projects aired on all the major networks, including seasons 1 and 2 of F Boy Island for HBO Max, and Emmy-Nominated work for the NBC show Home Turf.

As a Producer and Keyboardist, Alex has collaborated with DJs Justin Michael, Andrew Macari, King Tech, Domino D, and the Grammy-Nominated DJ/Producer Jay-J. He has worked as an Arranger for Grammy-Nominated Artists John Lee Hooker Jr, and Craig Chaquico of Starship. Alex has collaborated with the Hip Hop Legend Money B, including in producing and co-writing the theme song for the KBLA radio show First Things First with Dominique DiPrima.

Alex has extensive performing experience as a pianist and keyboardist, including on world tours with the Rock ’N Roll Hall of Fame Legend Bobby Womack, as well as with Charles Wright, Brenton Wood, Brenda Holloway, among many other projects.

As a Consultant Alex has worked with platinum songwriters, music editors, producers and composers, His teaching experience includes creating and conducting courses in Music Production, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Synth Programming, Keyboard Skills, and Piano. Alex has taught classes for the Multimedia Studies Center of San Francisco State University, Los Medanos College, and since 2012 for the prestigious Songwriting School of Los Angeles.
